how fun
you pretty much have to take the entire front of the car apart.
Not a huge problem but the hood can be a major PITA.
In fact i have a picture from when i did a minor refresh on the engine.

Knowing Jag, you probably need to remove the rear wheel bearings to change the water pump gasket.

Ouch :S not fun
Could be worse though. Could be working on a transverse V6 wedged into the front of an Alfa 156...
Timing cover on the left-hand side...

At a minimum, pick up a pair of orange safety gloves and use a leaf-blower on your hair. I can’t explain it, but it seems to work for this guy, maybe your Jag will be fooled...
